Retro Impression - Crafty Bloggers Network Challenge
Hi All and welcome to the Tintin Heart Blog.
Todays posting is a Retro style DT card for the Crafty Bloggers Network Challenge starting today, 5th March. The card was influenced by the geometric shapes and the bright primary colours of the 60s and 70s. Think of The Beatles, Mary Quant etc...
I punched various sizes of circles and squares from coloured cardstock and arranged them in colour combinations I thought worked together. The red punched heart was adhered to a white square and stamped with a sentiment in black ink. A little yellow punched heart was added for contrast. The completed squares were mounted onto a white cardstock background and matted onto some black card, then adhered to a white card base.
Hope you like the result.
Thanks for taking the time to stop by to read my blog. Your time and comments are appreciated.
