Blog Candy and My First Official Post of 2013

Hello and welcome to my crafty blog.

Things are geting sorted out ( well sort of) here and I am beginning to feel the need to get crafting again. Part of what has put me in the mood to get messy with inks and glue was the Do-Crafts demonstation I attended on Saturday last and I was definately inspired by the tips and techniques displayed by  Cliona Larkin from Night Owl Designs.  I had a lot of fun with the great bunch of follwers and met some very crafty individuals too.  Amongst the attendees was Daniel , a young 13 year-old with a great future in crafting. His samples were fabulous showinga great deal of creativity and individuality. Check out his blog and see what he can create. Well worth a visit

I'm afraid I got carried away with the fantastic bargains on offer in the Goodie Bags section and I have ended up with some duplicates of wonderful stamps from Pampered Pets,  Papermania card blanks, ribbons and die cuts. So I have decided to offer this surplus bounty up as my first ever Blog Candy!

Because I am working with absolutely no spare space at all, I want to hear your clever ideas on storage that
A.    Doesn't cost a lot
and
B.    Uses unusual items in clever ways.

This is an idea I got from the web where the clever crafter has used these hanging pockets for storing punches.  As my punches are still in a box in a storage container somewhere,    :-(
I decided to use it for my selection of dies. It makes great use of the space behind the door and when the door is open (my tiny desk is just inside the door) I just have to reach out to select my chosen die!
So get your thinking caps on and take a chanceon entering the draw for the Blog Candy. You don't have to follow, but if you like what you see on my blog I'd be delighted to see you amongst my followers.  Please leave me a comment with your space saving idea and the winner will be chosen at random on February 1st. The winner will be contacted shortly after the draw and the items forwarded in the post.
Good luck!

Thank you again for stopping by to read my blog. I look forward to your comments and I can't wait to see your great ideas.
