Flowers for Mum - The Crafty Pad Challenge

Today I am posting my DT card for the "Flowers for Mum" challenge running over at The Crafty Pad.

I have used one of The Crafty Pad digi stamps to make my Mum a "Pot Mum"  to thank her for being my Mum. I really like this digi stamp alot. There's lots of detail and as you can see from the other DT cards, lots of ways to present this splendid pot of Chrysanthemums.



The front of a white  5'x 5'card base was covered with pink and green patterned paper to create the base of the card.The digi stamp was printed onto white cardstock and coloured with Tombow water-based markers. The coloured image was cut out and popped up on some dimensional adhesive and mounted  in the lower right of a square of pink card tock. The card had to also incorporate a piece of old printed paper or newsprint, which I had in my stash.  A length of light green, flower printed ribbon was wrapped around the pink card with the printed paper tucked inside. The card was completed with a pink punched flower and a white circle with the sentiment from a digi stamp 'Thank you for being my Mum!'
