My DT piece is a tag inspired by the man himself Tim Holtz.
Taking the 'Aged and Distess' theme to heart, there's quite a lot going here on this standard tag. Of course I started with the Tim Holtz die-cut tag and using Ranger distress inks in Vintage photo and Tumbled Glass I added a base colour to the tag. The corsette shape was inked with Tuxedo Black ink and Versamark Red ink and give a skirt made with ribbon in wide wired blight brown and cream . The cogs and wheels were treated with silver embossing powder and black ink and covered with a birdcage cut-out from MemoryBox. The cage was spritzed with Vintage Photo ink to create a rusted effect. I then added some torn backing paper, a strip old news print and some flat-backed gems to the tag along with a red ribbon laced through punched holes. The tag was finished with a stick on sentiment and some yellow and cream organza ribbon.
I had fun getting crafty and inky with the Aged and Distress DT project.
