Happy Bird_Day!- Crafty Bloggers Network Challenge

Hello and welcome to my crafty blog,

today is the start of the new challenge over at the Crafty Bloggers Network and the theme is  'Happy Bird-day! '.

Happy Bird-Day!

Here is my DT card for the challenge. The image, stamped in black ink, was coloured using my Copic markers. The image was then cut out and adhered to the blue /green backing created with the backing papers. I made the frame from a Nellie Snellen die and carefully cut the centre out to make the frame. Some thin green organza ribbon was threaded around the frame and tied in a bow at the bottom. The card was finished with three pink paper fowers and a butterfly button as embellishments and teh sentiment was printed with my PC abd added to the top of the card.

There are lots of ideas and inspiration over at the Crafty Bloggers Network so pop over and take a peek and maybe join in.

Thanks for stopping by and reading by blog. Your time and comments are much appreciated.

Baby Card - Ditzy-Crafty Messers Challenge, blog

Hi all you lovely Crafters,

todays post is my DT card for the Ditzy-Craftymessers Challenge starting today. The new is theme is BABY and the challenge is being sponsored by our fab sponsors

AND

Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps And More, a division of I Did It Creations, was created and is owned by Robyn Weinrib.
Robyn offers a wonderful variety of digital stamps and digital papers, designed to meet the needs of all digital paper crafting addicts for every occasion.
Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps And More is happy to award the winner her choice of 5 digital stamps.

I choose the 'Goodnight Princess' digi image from Robyn's Fettish Digital Stamps and more for my DT card.  I really like the digi-stamps as they allow me to resize the image and the storage is simple.

 Goodnight Princess

I printed the image in my chosen size onto white card stock and then used Tombow waterbased markers to add the colour.  I used a light pink/lilac colour on the chair, going over those areas that needed shading several times to deepen the colour. The treatment was given to the dress and the hair. The card is an A5 white card-blank with a scalloped oval cut into the centre.  The card is embellished with some flowers made from contrasting DP and decorated with gems. Green lace and  a Sizzix die-cut added some flourishes to the flowers.  The sentiment was printed using my PC and punched out to fit the centre of one of the flowers.

Thank you for stopping by to read my blog. Your time and comments are appreciated.
